At It Is Well Foster Care, we serve children and families facing their greatest challenges. Our dedicated, highly trained staff work to ensure that every child experiences a safe, nurturing home and a strong sense of belonging. We equip and support caregivers to help shape brighter futures for the children in their care.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization licensed by the State of Georgia, committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of children. Our foster care program provides stable, loving homes for children and teens from infancy through age 18 who cannot safely remain with their biological families.
Many of the children referred to our program have experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma and require specialized emotional support. We proudly serve foster families across multiple counties in Regions 2, 4, 5, and 13, continually striving for excellence in every placement and partnership.

It Is Well Foster Care, Inc. welcomes children of all genders, spanning from one day old to 18 years old. Our agency is open to foster placements, high-risk infants and toddlers, and children facing behavioral challenges. Our primary aim is to ensure the care, supervision, and well-being of both male and female children, ages 0 to 18. We are dedicated to providing ongoing therapeutic services and skills training tailored to address their specific problems and needs.
Our services at It Is Well are personalized, culturally relevant, trauma-informed, and family-centered. We extend support to children and families from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including considerations of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or those who identify as gender non-conforming. We are also here for children who have been victims of sex trafficking. Our commitment is to create a safe and nurturing environment for all children, regardless of their unique circumstances.
